Creed’s Working Dog Background

Creed is an exceptional true working dog with incredible courage, strength and intensity, who adores his handler.

He is a large boned male, approximately 26” tall and 75 pounds. He is an extremely strong dog, both physically and mentally. He is a one person dog who is not social with people. Through training, he is neutral to people who ignore him. He is highly protective and intimidating. He is an extremely serious, intense, and physical dog. All of his drives are VERY high - food, prey, fight, pack (for his person), and aggression. He is a very talented working dog, and his grips are exceptionally hard, full, and calm - they do not shift or change. His gripping behavior has been described as “phenomenal” by multiple national helpers. He responds to pressure with tremendous fight and naturally uses his body very effectively to do so. He is a dog truly meant to work and bite. He is highly possessive and would be a very difficult dog with the wrong handling.

However, Creed is highly cooperative in his play and obedience training, and very biddable for his person. He is also very clear headed, which I think is super important in a dog like this. He is extremely charming and affectionate with his person! He is happy and silly and often thinks he is a lapdog. He actually has a calm personality and is not naturally “busy.” While I don’t allow interaction with dogs, he shows no reactivity (although he has FOMO for sure LOL). He has no issues with the other house dogs and is friendly with them through gates and kennels. He clearly especially loves the girls! He travels extremely well and does not stress easily. He is not noise sensitive and doesn’t care about different surfaces. He has been very healthy, and he is Embark clear.
